Tiny Heartless try to grab for what they want most in the world. Originally submitted as a photograph, it ended up in the ‘other’ category because it was the only one. The boundary between the paper and the hand really reminds me of old Disney cartoons where the animations would interact with the real world.

Roxas never believed the stories…and then he met her. And she wouldn’t leave him alone…” This is an excellent music video that takes an unexpected turn!

“This is a CMV more directed towards the “horror” of Kingdom Hearts. I figured this would be my best to enter. It is centered around the darkness in Kingdom Hearts (along with this SUPER CREEPY DEAD SPACE VERSION of your childhood song.) I do hope this sends some chills down spines and gives you a feeling of terror.” <—Everything said here.

After yelling at my screen because of twilight town, this was exactly how I felt the ending of the game should have gone. Also, *much* better idea for that thousand-heartless battle! This is a testament to using unorthodox materials, as well: “Drew on my sketchbook and used an app on my phone to create the gif ‘cause I don’t know how to use Flash or anything… haha”

Costume, Wig, and Keyblade were all done by this talented entrant, who posed in and edited this photo that their significant other took. It looks so realistic, and we’re pleased to see how many talents are showcased here!
‘Papercraft Roxas’ by Elaine -

This Roxas was made using an online template for a standard Roxas, and then heavily edited. The small details and jewelry pieces are exquisite, especially for how hard such tiny bits are to come by. This was the entrant’s first time making a paper-craft model!
‘Steampunk Bastion Sword’ by Vince
Theme: Retro/Steampunk
This sword was built with Hollow Bastion in mind! It was based around the idea of what might happen if Auron gave his sword to Cid to modify. The close-up pictures show lots of small details, making it easy to tell just how much work went into this piece.

A look into surviving the horrors of KH & how hard it is to rebuild when so much has changed. This is a fascinating story about the denizens of Radiant Garden, and what they go through after losing their world and while trying to get it back.

Everything is as it was before, until the end of Kingdom Hearts takes a surprise twist. This follows the events leading up to the end sequence, with quotes taken from the game and manga.

Tonight is the night!
As of Midnight, Pacific Standard time, the Orgxiii.org’s Creativity Contest will be closed! There are still a few more hours to send in submissions to special_requests at gmail dot com, so if you’re still thinking about entering go ahead and send it, now! We’ve been really excited to see some of the creative works that have been employed.
Tomorrow, I’ll be posting up links to the submissions so everyone can look and start voting. There’s lots of prizes to give out, so we’ll see you all then, and good luck!

Oooh yes! Sometimes this happens, since its difficult to make end-stops on zipper tape. We put together a video here that shows the basics on how to get a slider back on:

I find that a slight twist of the wrist helps when re-attaching!

That’s a good question!
And the fun thing is, the answer is actually up to you! We’ll accept any interpretation of the word ‘Haunted,’ from literal ghosts to memories that just won’t go away. We wanted to leave a lot up to your creativity, so we tried to keep the boundaries wide so your imagination can run free and wild. Use whatever definition you see fit in your work, and good luck!
Creativity Contest Extension!
We mentioned it on our Facebook, but I wanted to mention it here, as well. We’re going to be extending the Creativity Contest until May 19th! Between our website going down, attending two major conventions, and the knowledge that this is the end of the school year for many of our participants, we wanted to grant extra time for both ourselves to settle back in and for our entrants to have a chance.
I’ve currently sent confirmation emails to every entry that has been received, so check your inboxes if you submitted a creation to us, and if you didn’t get an email from me please re-submit your entry so I can make sure its included!

Absolutely!
The vinyl is available here: Sy Fabrics Black Clothing Pleather . I highly recommend it as being the most accurate, durable, and affordable fabric available for making leather-looking organization coats.
The pattern that I made is from scratch, so unfortunately that is nor available to the public. However, anyone can view my Organization xiii Matrix pattern tutorial on cosplay.com. It doesn’t fully get into everything that will be needed (its missing a hood) but it is a good place to start for just about any level of sewing experience!

As long as its well-marked as a spoiler, we don’t mind! (The marking is important, since the contest entries will be made public and we don’t want to accidentally ruin anything for anyone.) Thanks so much for asking, because this is a good question!

Oh this is exciting! There are now only three weeks left on our Kingdom Hearts CREATIVITY CONTEST!! We’ve already received some great entries, and we’re looking forward to receiving more!
